He was predeceased by: his brother Charles Danhauer; and his parents, Irvin Danhauer and Bernice Britt Danhauer. He is survived by: his wife Donna Sue Childers Danhauer; his son Mark Danhauer (Josie) of Pueblo, CO; and his siblings, John Wayne Danhauer (Patricia) of Arvada, CO and Judy Reddy (James).

“My condolences to Family and Friends of Mr. Danhauer, or Cliff as he was known to me and my wife Eileen at the time. I first met Cliff in 1986 or 1987 when we were both employed at the New York Field Office of the NTSB; he as an Air Safety Investigator and me as a Railroad Accident Investigator. Although I have not seen or talked to Cliff in many years, I really enjoyed our friendship and conversations, meeting for breakfast or dinner. RIP Cliff”
