He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Wilfred Smith, Jr and Rosa Belle Shurley Smith; his children, Donia Smith (Pat Stewart) and David Smith (Sue); his siblings, Janice Smith (Dale) and Wayne Smith (Betty); his grandchildren, Glesni and Teleri; his wife Vivian; and his sister Frances Sanford. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
