He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. and Mary C. Sowinski; his wife Ruth D. Sowinski; his son Kirk D. Braun; and his brothers, John and Joseph Sowinski.
He is survived by: his son Thomas C. Braun; his sisters, Mary Kobus and Marjorie Morrot; his sister-in-law Patricia Sowinski; and his nieces and nephews, Dale Morrot (Kathy), Ricky Morrot (Cheryl), Michael Karaszewski (Charlotte), David Sowinski, John Sowinski (Anne), Jimmy Sowinski (Peg), Linda Steebs (Russell), Carol Jury and Cathy Campbell (Jim). He is also survived by other loving great nieces, great nephews and friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (5323 E County Rd 462, Wildwood, FL 34785). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
