He is survived by: his wife Rachel Lucille Traynor-Lanier; his children, Marvin Darrell Lanier, Kevin Duane Lanier, Sr. (Josie) and Teila Christine Lanier-Killough (Marvin); his siblings, Ida Verona Linson, LeRoy Mitchell Linson, John L. Linson, Audory Earnest Lanier, Maple L. Lanier-Hinkle, O. W. Lanier, Earl Windell Lanier, Richard Eary, Betty Gale Lanier-Storman and Steven Randall Lanier; and his great grandchildren, Madisyn Faye Lanier, Kevin Duane Lanier, III, Lily Anne Sisk, Colton James Sisk, Clint Lee Jones, Summer Lynn Spear, Hollyn Marie Stoddard, Jeffrey Allen Spear, III, Henry Allen Spear, Saige Elizabeth Spear, Cole Matthew Spear and Casey Stoddard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
