He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Henry Nichols and Celia Aliene Snowden; his wife Vonnie Nichols; his children, Kevin Nichols, Yvette Hobkirk (Scott) and Kahn Distel (Eric); and his grandchildren, Dwayne Hobkirk (Felicia), Ian Nichols (Jillian), Chase Hobkirk (Kendra), Mackenzie Ryburn and Delaney Ryburn. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
