He was predeceased by: his parents, Voris Hyland and Elizabeth Hyland (Cox); and his wife Patricia Rose Hyland. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Hyland (Julie) of Oskaloosa and Eric Hyland (Becky) of Appleton, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Kelly, Alex, Angela, Rachel and Trent. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

The family has requested donation be made to Compassionate Care Hospice in lieu of flowers in Jerry's loving memory.
