“Helene, God has swept you up into his loving arms, where you will no longer be ill. But, how we all hurt by not having you among us. You were always kind and gentle. You loved and thought of others before yourself. You loved each and everyone of your children and grandchildren, with such pride in each one. You learned to sew so that you could make pajamas for your younger grandchildren. The pajamas came from grandma’s hands, and heart. I thank God for your friendship, my chosen sister, Hazel”
