It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colleen June Hobkirk (Wildwood, Florida), born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Meder and Idelle Meder; and her daughters, Rebecca Lynn Hobkirk Huffman and Collette June Hobkirk. She is survived by: her husband Carlos Paul Hobkirk; her siblings, Shirley Kehrer and Roger Meder (Lori); her son Dwayne "Scott" Hobkirk (Yvette); her grandsons, Dwayne Hobkirk (Felicia Hall) and Chase Hobkirk; and her great grandchildren, Bella Hobkirk, Brody Hobkirk, Cole Hobkirk and Weslynn Hobkirk.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel (410 Webster St, Wildwood, FL 34785). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at the Nichols Cemetery (1790 Co Rd 246, Oxford, FL 34484).
