He was predeceased by: his parents, William Samuel Thomas and Eleanor June Thomas (Kraatz); his wife Linda; his brother William Thomas; and his sister-in-law Fran Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marci McCulloch (Ric) of Dexter, MI and Julie Gundry (Ed) of Wake Forest, NC; his siblings, Louise Miller (James) of Southgate, MI and Samuel Thomas (Mickie) of Allen Park, MI; and his grandchildren, Jacob Gundry (Caitlin), Katie Gundry, Abby Gundry, Owen McCulloch and Stephen McCulloch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
