She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Allen and Elizabeth Allen (Schweiger); her grandson James Zaranek; and her sisters, Clara Ashcroft, Dorothy Allen, Grace Connell, Betty Jennings and Mercedes Meredith.

She is survived by: her children, Mike (Sue) and Lisa (Douglas); her grandchildren, David and Alison Zaranek; her husband Richard "Jack" Zaranek; her daughter Cathy; and also Missy.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her memory to hospice, food pantry/soup kitchen and/or animal-rescue organizations.
