She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bernard and Carolyn Egly (Maddox). She is survived by: her husband Hans G. Swanson; her daughters, Heidi White and Shelby Smalt (Chris); her grandchildren, Christopher, Haley, Nicholas, Kylie, Kately, Austin and Maddie; and her sisters, Carol Rigdon (Fred) and Connie Cone (Larry). She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of the United States in Ann's memory.
