He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Roderick Harris and Elizabeth Dwyer Harris Cristi; his son Archie Theodore Harris; his brother Larry; the mothers of children, Arna Christensen and Clara Hammonds Harris Terry; and his nephew Daniel Jaye.
He is survived by: his wife Micky McKee Harris; his sisters, Eleanor and Josephine; his daughters, Xene Nelson (Richard), Ila Bullinger (Jesse) and Lillian Woodard (Clay); and his stepdaughter Jennifer McMillan (John). He is also survived by His grandchildren include two grandsons, four granddaughters, and two step grandsons.
