He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Gosnell Edmonds and William Calvin "W. C.", Sr.; and his brother William Calvin "W. C.". He is survived by: his sisters, Carrie Smith, Gladys Barnwell, Louise Ledbetter and Margie Gunter; his great grandchild Gabriel Edmonds; his wife Ruth Holloway Edmonds; his children, Pam Edenfield (Steve) and Homer Edmonds, Jr. (Wendy); his grandchildren, Tiffany Buonvino (Bryan), Heather Evans (Chad), William Edmonds (Devon Lee) and Matthew Edmonds; and his great grandchildren, Maximus, Jakub, Alekzander and Abigale Buonvino.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be sent to Suwannee River Church of the Nazarene located at 18763 SE County Rd. 137, White Springs, FL 32096.
