He was predeceased by: his parents, Stoell William Swinney and Ola Roberts Swinney. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his sons, Michael Swinney (Sandra) and Patrick Swinney (Tammy); his grandchildren, John Ross Swinney, Dezarel Waters (Austin) and Miranda Grybko (Clayton); and his sisters, Nanci Swinney and Mary Lou Swinney. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
