Waymon W. Hanlon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Waymon W. Hanlon of Wewahitchka, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Waymon is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Waymon's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, JC Hanlon and Mary Francis Hanlon; and his brothers, Jimmy, Jack, James and John Hanlon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ray Hanlon of Tallahassee, FL, Gene Hanlon of Wewahitchka, FL, Marie Daniels and Francis Gable of Wewahitchka, FL; and his aunt Lola Clem McDaniel of Gray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Westside Baptist Church (842 W River Rd, Wewahitchka, FL 32465). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
