It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Thales Shipman (Wewahitchka, Florida), born in Kissimmee, Florida, who passed away on September 28, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Madlyn Guess; his stepfather George Guess; his father Cecil Shipman; and his siblings, Jimmy, Raymond, Billy Joe Shipman and Janice Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Shipman; his children, Kathleen Shipman, Carol Jones (Roger), Bobby Shipman (Deborah) and Karen Shipman (Cricket); his siblings, Aaron Guess (Holly) and Edith Adkins; his grandchildren, Joseph Shipman (Michelle), Jesse Jones, Amanda Shipman, Johnathan Shipman, Brittney Shipman and Katie Jones; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Skylar, April and Dustin; and his sister-in-law Rose Vetere. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to either Covenant Care Hospice or to National Brain Tumor Society.
