He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ward and Hazel Ward; and his brothers, Norman Ward, Michael "Mike" Ward and Darrell "Jackie" Ward.
He is survived by: his brother Shannon Ward (Wanelda) of Panama City, FL; his fiancée Lola "Denise" Cone; and his children, Kelly Ward, Haley Endres and John Acosta. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew; extended family consisting of three sons, five daughters, sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
