She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard A. Matlock and Stella Matlock; her former husband Joseph Kenneth Whitfield; her husband Alan D. McNair; her brother Leonard A. Matlock, Jr.; and her stepdaughter Vicki Whitfield Beaty.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Kenneth "Ken" Whitfield, III (Sonya), Jason Matlock Whitfield and Kendyl Whitfield Sparkman; and her sister-in-law Ann S. Matlock. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
