He is survived by: his children, Philip Griffin (Paula), Cynthia Long (Derrick), April Herring (Chris) and Aaron Sanders; his grandchildren, Alex Jake Whitten, Dallas Herring and Natalie Long; and also Ciara Goodwin. He is also survived by three siblings; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
