We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2021, at the age of 84, George Cox of Wewahitchka, Florida, born in Donalsonville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fitzhugh Cox and Florence Cox; and his brothers, Fitzhugh H. Cox, Jr. and Richard A. Cox (Dickie). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Stephan Cox; his children, Stephanie C. Wade (Algy) and Brian F. Cox (Tonya); his grandchildren, Stephen Price (Stacey), Remington Wade (Megan), Zachary Cox (Adria), Justin Haddock, Brook Haddock and Andrea Prescott; his great grandchildren, Gabriella Price, Grayson Price, Benjamin Cox and Sadie Haddock; and his close friend Ladonya Millender.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Steeple Fund of the First United Methodist Church of Wewahitchka, P. O. Box 265, Wewahitchka, FL 32465.
