It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David M. Rich Sr. of Wewahitchka, Florida, born in Port Saint Joe, Florida, who passed away on May 27, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his mother Evie Mae Rich (Tiny). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Rich (Betty); his children, David Mitchell Rich, Jr. of Panama City and Amy Rich Kirkus (Jason) of Duluth, GA; and his grandchildren, Christopher Rich (Betsy), Kayla Rich Harrell (William), Stetson Rich (Kaitlyn), David Michael Rich, Jennifer Ramsey (Will) and Tyler Kirkus. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
