He is survived by: his wife Opal Brogdon; his brother Charles; his children, Candi Laird, Charles Laird (Brenda) and Tiffany; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Ti Rhodes (Amber), Charlie Laird (Kaitlyn), Taylor Wilkerson (Jeffrey), Megan (Jeff) and Cassie Whittington; and his great grandchildren, James and Autumn. He is also survived by niece, numerous cousins and friends.
