She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodus Mitchell and Bessie Lee Mitchell; and her brothers, Leroy Mitchell and James "Jim" Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Doferice D. Thompson; her children, Michael Thompson (Lisa) of Bonifay, FL, David Thompson of Westville, FL, Stacey Lee Thompson (Carrie) of Graceville, FL and Michelle Strickland (Jason) of Westville, FL; and her siblings, Ruth Vickers of Bonifay, FL, Ray Neal Mitchell (Ellen) of Bonifay, FL, Marvin Mitchell (Marilyn) of Westville, FL and Betty Sue Johnson of Bonifay, FL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren,; six grandchildren.
