He is survived by: his close friend Bernice McKee; his children, Bobby Slay (Callie Gaillard), Dustin Slay (Shelby) and Jamie Slay; his siblings, Furlon "Skeet" Slay (Carolyn), Ronnie Slay (Melissa Clark), Bud Slay and Wedell Pollard (Robert); and his grandchildren, Hunter Slay, McKenna Knowles, Logan Slay, Travis Lundy, Hayden Slay, Lucy Slay and Mia Slay.
