He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Carnley Nelson; and his brother Cody Nelson. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Nelson (Teresa), Keith Nelson, Joey Nelson (Tiffany) and Eddie Nelson (Jennifer); his sister Wanda Hair (Steve); and his close friend Patricia Scott. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
