He is survived by: his wife Delores; his daughter Alita "Kay" Vaughan (Woodrow); his grandchildren, Jeff Landers and Alita Kristin Blakely (Josh); his great grandchild Nicholas Blakely; and his brothers, Jerry Compton (Nina) and David Compton (Sandy).
