She was predeceased by: her husband Piersal "Arthur" Fowler; her grandson Michael DeWayne Barnett; and her siblings, Edward Holmes, Cozetta Driskell, Randolph Holmes, Gerald Holmes and Alcus Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Fowler (Lisa), Faye Fowler and Richard Fowler (Pam); and her sister Lour Maxine Brooks. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
