He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Carroll and Molly Smothers Carroll; and his siblings, Mollie Smothers and Junior Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carroll of DeFuniak Springs; his mother-in-law Dorothy Cordle of DeFuniak Springs; his stepchildren, Shelby Truett (Jenny) of Samson, Bryan Truett (Kristin) of DeFuniak Springs and Heather Reynolds (Kenny) of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; and his sisters, Ruthie Burgess (Ronnie) of Leonia and Georgia Thompson (James) of Enterprise, Alabama. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
