It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Scharfenberger of Weston, Florida, born in Forest Hills, New York, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Fredericks and Grace Fredericks; her husband Gerard Scharfenberger (Jerry); and her sister Betty Williams. She was also cherished by children and grandchildren as well as her brother Bob's children and grandchildren.

In her honor flowers are welcomed, or donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
