He is survived by: his wife Bernarda; his children, Salvador Montalbano (Paola "Lina"), Maria Montalbano and Silvana Montalbano (James Lee); his grandchildren, Anthony, Peter, Selena, James and Joshua; and his siblings, Paolo Montalbano, Anna Santangelo and Pina Bertucelli.
