He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Davis Dawson; his children, Denise Dawson (Kevin Balle), Dale Dawson (Amparo) and Dianna Craven (Robert); his grandchildren, Matthew Dawson, Michael Dawson, Emily Craven and Paige Craven; and his siblings, James Dawson (Joyce), Jack Dawson (Carol), Eugene Dawson (Ernestine), Peggy Russell (Franklin) and Sharon Dawson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tillman Funeral Home and Crematory (2170 S Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33415). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory (2170 S Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33415). The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery (6501 S State Rd 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449).
