He is survived by: his children, Angela, Bertrand, Luis and Carolina; his grandchildren, Celena, Chelsea, Gabriel, Brandon, Emily, Eleanor and Carlos Jose; his wife Maria Rodriguez; and his siblings, Petronila Batista and Rafael Diaz.
