In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Martha Pinkston had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Martha Pinkston may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Pinkston and Althea Pinkston; her husband Shelly Jones; and her siblings, Doris Tookes (Riviera Beach), Dr. Alphonso Pinkney (New York City), Evelyn Pickens (Orlando) and Emery Pinkston (Orlando).
She is survived by: her children, Roslyn and Bruce; and her sister Doloris.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (1915 Spruce Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
