It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis Bonilla Acevedo of West Palm Beach, Florida, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Celia Acevedo and Eladio Acevedo; his son Richard Acevedo; and his siblings, Blanca Acevedo Rivera, Milagro Acevedo, Jenny Acevedo, Nancy Acevedo, Rafael Acevedo and Jimmy Acevedo.
He is survived by: his wife Benita Rivera Acevedo; his children, Lillian Acevedo Rivera, Angel Luis Acevedo and Marlene Acevedo; his son-in-law Victor M Rivera Jr.; his sisters, Awilda Acevedo Rivera and Daisy Acevedo Wood; his grandchildren, Shirley Mattos, Eric Rivera (Mitchelle Rivera), Robert Rivera of DonMiguel Shanks, JR and Giovanni D Shanks; his great grandchildren, Alexus Marrero, Jaiden Marrero, Victoria Marrero, Azariah Marrero, Christopher Shanks, Iberika Shanks, Jazlyn Shanks, Amiyah Shanks, Jordyn Shanks, Luis Miguel Shanks, Giovanni Shanks Jr. and Anbella Rose Rivera; and his great great grandchildren, Jisai Page, Elias Shanks, Julius Shanks, Elaina Shanks and Avani Nissi Lamberty.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405).
