He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Susanne Sliker, William James Mayes and Andrew Thomas Mayes; his great grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Mayes, Jr. and Hazel Ann Mayes; and also, Karen Ann Gilreath (James) and Billie Jo Brand (Fred).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Melbourne Moose Lodge 1406.
