With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sharon Petrus formerly of West Melbourne, Florida, born in West Allis, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on June 3, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Darwin Koch and Mildred Koch (Brower); her husband Larry Petrus; her son Tedd Petrus; her grandson Eric Bergren; and her brothers, Duane Koch (Phyllis) and Dean Koch.

She is survived by: her children, John Petrus and Laurel Bergren (Dan); her daughter-in-law Marva Petrus; her grandchildren, Rachel Kriss (George), Kevin Petrus (Alex), Jason Petrus, Melissa Petrus, Daniel Petrus, Jessica Larsen (Justin), Jake Bergren (Alex) and Jordan Bergren; and her siblings, Sandra Dvorak (David), Enid DeCamera, Suzanne Bolskar, Barbara Lemke (Marv), Karen Kazlauskas, Patricia Weiss (Joel), Brenda Peters (Ted), Brian Koch (Rita), Cindy Fries and Scott Koch (JoEllen). She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations to The Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.

“Dear Laurie and John, I don’t know if you remember me. We were neighbors many years ago when your family lived in Madison. I was stunned to see via Facebook that your Dad had passed. I sent a card to your Mom which was returned, wrong address. In trying to hunt down a correct address I came upon your Mom’s obit. Needless to say, I’m still finding it hard to believe. I have so many wonderful memories of your folks and you kids. We had so many good times together. My love, Helen Taylor”
