She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Dudley Pate, Jr.; her son David Marshall Pate; her brother Charles Cragin Lynn; and her parents, Marshall H. Lynn and Leonora G. Lynn.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Dudley Pate of Melbourne, Laura Lynn Smith (Kurt) of Lillington and Mary Margaret Trofholz (Fred) of Papillion; and her grandchildren, Cameron, Alyson, Anna Trofholz, Haley and Hayden Smith.
