He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shull and Mary "Marie" Thomas Shull; and his brothers, Tom, David and Mark.
He is survived by: his wife Dover Bradford Shull; his daughter Shelby (Patrick) of Dallas; his pets, Fred and Marley; and his siblings, Jennifer of Bristow, Randy (Terri) of Winchester and Tim of Falls Church. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a great nephew and niece.
