Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Howard leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, D. Harold Brown and Thelma Isis Brown (Howard); and his wife Hazel Marie Fountain. He is survived by: his children, Kim Powell (David) of Culver, IN, Pamela Rolfe (Scott) of The Villages, FL, Benita Brown of Bloomington, IN and Rodney Brown of Sedalia, MO; and his stepchildren, Judy McIntyre (Jerry) of Cincinnati, OH, Terry Darnofall (Mary) of Raleigh, NC and Bill Darnofall (Debra) of Coer. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, one sister, and numerous other relatives.
