Flakes III (Valencia), Daphne Flakes-Gore (Nathaniel) and Erika Flakes Williams (Vashaun); his siblings, Delphia Kaigler, Frankie Jones and Sumpter Lee Flakes (Betty); his brothers-in-law, Roosevelt Harris (Velma) and Alvin Harris (Rosalind); and his grandchildren, Alexis Williams, Vashaun Williams Jr., Zoë Brammer, Brendan Forrester Flakes, Camryn Flakes and Cassidy Flakes. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
