She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Vega (Roman) and Margarita Vega; her brothers, Juan and Angel Roman; and her grandson Xzavian "Nuni" Mercado.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Rivera (Paola), Eduardo "Gordo" Mercado (Alyson), Ernesto "Flaco" Mercado and Clanil "Star" Solis; her brothers, Carlos Roman (Melita), Felix Roman (Andrea) and Luis Roman; her great grandchildren, Melody (Josiah Brito), Ciara, Matthew Rivera, Kiara, Dominic, Maximus, Jaiden Mercado, Ernesto and Yialixanelle; her son Joshandiel (Sejanil Mercado); and also, Yarelis, Ares, Yiaxieliz and Zoelianis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Winter Park (3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL 32792). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Winter Park Chapel (3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL 32792).
