He was predeceased by: his father Maurice Lysne; and his niece Tami Vokoun. He is survived by: his mother Henrietta J. Lysne; and his siblings, Violet (Wayne Kearns), Pam (Ron Vokoun), Angela (Gerry Cecci) and Darwin (Barb Lysne). He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.
