Joseph Thomas Munley Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Thomas Munley Jr. of Wesley Chapel, Florida, born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Kaitlyn; his sisters, Rosemarie (Barry Cornell), Marcille (Jimmy Barbour) and Joanne (Mark Chambers); his cousin Michael Munley; his nephews, Tommy Cornell and Mark Evans; his great-niece Amanda Wolven; and his great-nephew Ty Connolly.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his son Joseph (Beth); his grandchildren, Emily of Nashville, TN, Abby (Sonny) and Liz (Vin); his sons, Patrick New (Michelle) and Timothy (Katrina); his grandchildren, Delaney and Quinn of Mountain Top, PA; his son Brian of Tallahassee, FL; and his sister Gerri Evans (Mark) of Old Forge, PA. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (6 N Church St, Carbondale, PA 18407). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery (412 PA-106, Greenfield Township, PA 18407).
