He is survived by: his mother Rose Marie Beck (Friedman); his wife Jennifer Hudson; his daughters, Payton Hudson and Jillian Hudson; his stepmother Michelle Beck; his parents-in-law, Lynda Rhea and Joe Golden; his grandmother Carol Friedman; his siblings, Jamie Straley and Justin Beck (Laura); his sister-in-law Rhonda Kostka; his nieces and nephews, Alexis Straley (Reid), Avery Beck, Madison Kostka, Elijah Straley (Harmony) and TJ Kostka; his uncles, George Friedman (Joanne), Daniel Friedman (Dawn), Darren Friedman, Steven Friedman (Murray) and Andrew Cohen; his aunt Amanda Bodrie (Mark); his cousins, Christopher Friedman (Andrea), Sherri Smith (Justin), Brett Friedman, Garret Friedman, Grant Friedman (Ashley), Kourtney Roberts and Hannah Bodrie; his great-nieces, Paisley Votaw, Lainey Votaw and Josephine Votaw; and his pets, Bo Berry and Bonnie.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood (3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
