He was predeceased by: his brother Brian Winkler; his uncles, Richard Viohl, Richard Schwerdt and Robert Schwerdt; and his godfather Kenneth Winkler.
He is survived by: his parents, James Winkler (Didamia Santiago) and Victoria Winkler; his siblings, John Winkler, Jason Winkler and Jennifer Winkler; and also, Logan Winkler, Jacquelyn Winkler, Alyssa Winkler and Brandon Winkler.
