With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nikolaos Gakopoulos of Wellington, Florida, who passed away on September 18, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Agoro Gakopoulos; his wife Vasiliki Papadimitroulis of Damaskinia; his parent Kosmas Gakopoulos; his parents-in-law, Kostantinos and Androniki Papadimitroulis; and his brother Vasilios Gakopoulos.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rina Giottas (Dimitri) of Norwalk, CT, Roula Karavitis (Dino) of Wellington, FL and Nitsa Papadopoulos (George) of Eleftheroupoli, Greece.; his grandchildren, Stergios Giottas, Nikolaos Giottas (Gabriella), James Karavitis, Alyssa Karavitis and Dimitri Papadopoulos; his brother Antonios (Kaiti) of Kastoria; and his siblings-in-law, Vasiliki Gakopoulos of Niantic, CT, Alekos Papadimitroulis (Sophia) of Greece and Maria Giorgiopoulos (Konstantinos) of Greece. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
