Athena Nickole Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Athena Nickole of Wellington, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Athena Nickole to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Nickole; her parents, Peter Demas and Christina Demas (Gianakopoulus); and her sisters, Margaret Fudula and Mary Andrian.
She is survived by: her sons, Ernest Nickole, Darya of Boxford and Theodore Nickole (Kellie) of Saugus; her granddaughters, Melanie, Nicole, Athena, Alexis and Anastasia; and her great grandchildren, Amando, Anastasia, Santino and Milan.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home (549 Lincoln Ave, Saugus, MA 01906). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (164 Winter St, Saugus, MA 01906).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of her husband, the late George Nickole to the Alzheimer's Association of Massachusetts to alz.org/manh.
