He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Gaskins and Vernice Williams Gaskins; his son Michael Shane Gaskins; and his brother Tony Gaskins. He is survived by: his wife Carole Kinard Gaskins; his daughters, Jennifer Lorraine Cameron (Alex) and Lindsey Brooke Cook (Robert); his siblings, Roy Gaskins (Vickie) and Angie Sistrunk (Raleigh); and his grandchildren, Devan Cameron (Manning), Darcy Cameron, Mason Cameron, Macey Cameron, Maybreigh Cameron, Taylor Shipp, Logan Shipp, Johnny Cook, Makayla Cook and Sadie Gaskins. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gateway - Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, Lake City (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Williams Cemetery (359 NE Williams St, Lake City, FL 32055).
