She was predeceased by: her former spouse Hinton Vann; her husband Daniel Reid Jerkins; her son David Vann [Shelby]; and her siblings, Minnie Stansel, Ruby Ammons [Hubert] and Henry C. "Buddy" Stansel.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Vann [Brenda], Jeanette Mathews [Calvin] and Ronnie Vann [Pat]. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
