It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita House of Welaka, Florida, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edna Cook and Grant McMillian, Jr.; her cousins, Beatrice Riley, Lucille Cathy, Joseph Cathy, Betty Caruthers and Clarence Hutchins; her son Grady House of Racine, WI; her sister Daisy Mae Graham; her stepsons, Lee Andrews, James Andrews and Jesse Andrews; her brother-in-law Walter Smith of Atlanta, GA; her cousin Arthur Brockington (Rose); and her nieces and nephews, Irene Tolbert (T. J.), Temperance Barlow and Carolyn Mills (Isaiah). She was also cherished by other loving relatives and friends.
In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines including required masks with social distancing, a visitation of family and friends will be from 1-2 p. m., Saturday, December 5, 2020 with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 2 p. m., at First Baptist Church of Welaka, 638 3rd Ave., Welaka, Reverend Cornelius Scott Golden, pastor of Ward Chapel A. M. E. Church, Seville, officiating.
